Arlene T (Trujillo) Encinias

June 5, 1949 — August 3, 2017

Arlene T. Encinias, 68, of Dumas, Texas was called to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 3, 2017 in Dumas, Texas. She passed away surrounded by her loving family. Arlene Encinias was born June 5, 1949 in Roy, New Mexico to Moises and Rose (Tafoya) Trujillo. She married her husband, Dario Encinias, on December 21, 1966 in Clayton, New Mexico. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Dumas, Texas where they made their home and raised their family. After working many years as a pharmacy technician, Arlene retired to enjoy her family. She also enjoyed going to casinos, traveling, shopping and watching her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. She was a woman of strong faith, believing in the
power and strength of Jesus Christ and spent many hours reading the Bible. She is deeply loved by her family and will begreatly missed.

Arlene is survived by her beloved husband of fifty years, Dario Encinias; five daughters, Lori Encinias-Allen, of Clayton, NewMexico, Sheila Encinias-Amador, Cherie and Mike Ramos, Paula and Roy O'Daniel, and Violette and Adam Gutierrez, all ofAmarillo, Texas; two sons, Danny Encinias, of Amarillo, Texas and Carlos and Krissy Encinias, of Castle Rock, Colorado.
She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Kimberly Tijerina, Darion Allen, Brittany Green, DJ Encinias, Briana Grajeda,Brittney Lozano, Stormi Amador, Michael Ramos, Zachary Taylor, Kylar O'Daniel, Chase O'Daniel, and Jackson Encinias;six great-grandchildren with one on the way. She is also survived by two sisters, Geneva and Raymond Medina, and Lilly and Jerry Padilla, all of Clayton, New Mexico; three brothers, Robert and Lisa Trujillo, Frank "Keko" and Dolores Trujillo, Moses and Shelly Trujillo, and brother-in-law, Gene Archuleta, all of Clayton, New Mexico and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, Moises and Rose Trujillo; son-in-law, Michael "Mike" Amador; three sisters,
Barbara Vigil, Evelyn Sintas, and Mary Archuleta; and three brothers, Felix Trujillo, Joe Trujillo, and Leroy "Crunch" Trujillo
