Earl B. Eder, 75, of Amarillo died Sunday, February 16, 2020. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2020 at Washington Avenue Christian Church, 3800 South Washington Street. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. He was born December 30, 1944 in Lamar, Colorado to Bruce and Minerva Eder. Earl and his family moved to Amarillo in 1957. At the age of 16 he wanted a ’55 Chevy Bel-Air, so he got a job at Amarillo Motors. He worked in their upholstery shop where he began his lifelong trade. Earl graduated from Amarillo High School in 1963 and married his beautiful wife, Linda. He worked at Warren’s Glass and Trim for many years. Earl opened his own shop, Auto Interiors Unlimited in 1999. He taught his son, Don the trade where they worked side by side for 20 years. Don will continue to carry on the family business and honor Earl every day. Earl’s family was the most important thing in his life. He shared a special thing with all his grandchildren and they were the joy of his life. Earl will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Linda Eder; a daughter, Michelle Wyly and husband Shawn; a son, Don Eder and wife Jeri; five grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
