Frank Watson, Jr., 75, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017.
He was born in Mobile, Alabama to Lonnie Dell and Frank Watson, Sr. He later moved to Amarillo, Texas where he graduated from Carver High School.
Frank was employed by Santa Fe/Burlington Northern Railroad as a Car Inspector/Conductor for 33 years. He retired from the railroad in 2003. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling, fishing and spending time with close friends and family. Frank was a loving and humble man who treated everyone with kindness and respect.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Sondra "Gail" Dawn.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a brother, Kelsie Baker, Jr., of Amarillo Texas, two children, Marcus (Clarissa) Watson of Wichita, Kansas and Destiny Watson of Amarillo, four step-children, Takeita Buchanan-Polite, Roy (Jamie) Polite Jr., Rory (Sheila) Polite and Christopher Polite all of Amarillo, 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and family and close friends.
