Judy Ballauer

Judy Ann Ballauer, 77, of Amarillo passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, December 12, 2019. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, December 16, 2019 at Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Bob Heidecker officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 - 4:00 pm, Sunday, December 15, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel.

Judy was born on March 14, 1942 in Delight, Arkansas to Samuel and Anna Brown. She graduated from Lawton High School in Lawton, OK and married the love of her life, Norbert Ballauer on July 16, 1966. They were married for fifty three wonderful years. Judy was a housewife and stay at home mother who loved to cook and sew. She learned those skills from her mother and was also very involved in her church where she attended Sunday School. Judy met Norbert at the bowling alley in Lawton and she continued to enjoy bowling at the Grand Bowl in Amarillo.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Norbert; two sons, Alan Ballauer and wife Nella and Scott Ballauer and wife Kathy; one brother, Perry Brown; three grandchildren, Cassie Payton and husband Bear, Leslie Ballauer, and Stephen Austin and wife Courtney and six great grandchildren.
